About us

Neighbours growing food & community.

Henley Brook Community Orchard is a volunteer-run community garden in Henley Brook, Western Australia — a place where neighbours meet, food grows, and the act of tending the land becomes the act of building a community.

Our mission

The Henley Brook Community Orchard is a community group for residents of the Henley Brook Private Estate. We bring people together in a spirit of sharing — connecting with each other and creating deep bonds within the community.

Our community garden is a place for all members of the community, not just gardeners. It’s somewhere to learn seasonal growing, sustainable practices, and to grow and flourish — in this generation, and in those that follow.
What we do

A garden for everyone, tended by everyone.

HBCO was formally incorporated in Western Australia in June 2025 and is registered with the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission (ACNC).

Get involved

Many hands, many ways.

You don't need a green thumb or hours to spare. Drop by a working bee, donate a seedling, follow us on Facebook for what's growing this season, or just walk through and take home what's ready on the help-yourself bench.
